Dr Rajeswaran(Raj) has been a Consultant Physician in Diabetes, Obesity and Endocrinology in Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust after completing his specialist training in Leeds.
He currently leads a large multidisciplinary specialist weight management service in West Yorkshire and is the medical advisor for weight management service in Essex.
In addition to his special interest in weight management, he runs diabetes and endocrine clinics. His special interest includes management of people with diabetes and obesity. He founded the National Diabesity Forum and is the Editor-in-Chief of Diabesity in Practice Journal. He is highly experienced in providing pre and postoperative care for people having all forms of bariatric surgery.
